It seems like everyday we are finding another toxic product and how it is reeking havoc on our health. The problem with these toxic chemicals in baby products, is they are linked to developmental disabilities, thyroid and hormone disruption, fertility issues, puberty delay, a list of allergens and cancers. You may be thinking, "Why is this allowed?" The U.S. Federal Regulations are extremely limited in what they don't allow, which makes it totally acceptable for companies to use these toxic ingredients. All it took for me was to get pregnant with our first baby and I was down a rabbit hole of toxic products and ingredients to avoid during pregnancy.
